Carbon Recycling International (CRI) is the world’s leader in converting
carbon dioxide to methanol. Their technology creates a sustainable
closed loop by recycling CO2 emissions from a range of industrial
processes and combining them with H2 to create a renewable source
of methanol which can be used in a number of applications.
Need & Requirement
CRI have seen great success with their CO2 to methanol production
technology, which is making an impact on a global scale. They wanted
to update their branding and digital content to better reflect their
position in the international marketplace and to create a stronger,
more cohesive visual identity across all areas of the business.
Motion Marketing Solution
With educational backgrounds including chemical engineering, the
Motion team were well-placed to understand CRI’s sustainable
technology marketing requirements and convey this through new
branding and content.
The rebrand included a new logo which incorporates three parts of
CRI’s carbon recycling process, with the end product’s molecular
structure represented within the white space. Using our tried and tested branding process, this was carefully researched and
developed to stand out in the market and provide the right message in
terms of design and colour.
Using this new logo and brand palette, our team created a new visual
style to convey CRI’s unique technology, with elements including
website imagery and infographics to break down complex concepts,
and a full package of branded templates for documents and other
business collateral. At the heart of this was CRI’s corporate
presentation, which we updated with the new visual style to better
enhance the content.
In addition, we helped improve their online presence by supporting the
team with website content creation and an updated website structure
to improve the user experience, as well as providing support with social
media content and imagery to reflect the new branding.
