Wrapping up 2021 with our Highlights of the Year

It’s been an eventful and gratifying year for Motion, partnering with a growing number of customers, delivering on some exciting and strategic projects, expanding the team and launching a new charity donation initiative within the company.

While times are still uncertain, 2021 has also seen a few glimpses of normal life for our customers, with a few in-person events and exhibitions managing to take place, which were a real joy to work on after such a long time.

New Technical Projects in 2021

As we continued to work on new technical projects with existing partners we were also delighted to welcome several new customers. And with that, came lots of exciting new projects.

One project all the team enjoyed working on this year was for Carbon Recycling International (CRI), the world’s leading specialist in converting carbon dioxide to methanol. CRI is making a positive impact on the environment, and as a company and team that cares about environmental issues, it was very easy for us to feel passionate about their mission and brand.

Chemical engineering is one of our areas of specific staff expertise, so we were well-placed to understand CRI’s ethos and put together some great marketing to suit their requirements.

Our creative team enjoyed the challenge of developing CRI’s new international focused branding and created a smart new logo and visual identity that captured the essence of the brand and its position as a global company.

CRI was just one of the technical projects the team completed this year. We have had the pleasure of working with some interesting and complex sectors in 2021 including software development, customer experience management and medical device eQMS solutions. New Supporting & Charity Activities

2021 saw the launch of Motion’s team charity donation initiative. Every person in the Motion team will select a charity each year to receive a donation from the company. This year, the team’s chosen charities included Mind, Antenatal Results & Choices (ARC), Cool Earth, Dementia UK, 16th Cheltenham Brownies and Alzheimer’s UK.

The Motion team put a great deal of consideration and care into selecting their charities, with many having had a personal connection, passion or belief behind those selected. All of them benefit the community and the planet significantly, so it’s great to be able to support these charities as a company.

Welcoming New Team Members

As the year grew busier with new clients and more project work for existing partners, it was time to expand the Motion team. We have welcomed three new technical industry-led team members this year, each bringing specialist industry knowledge and expertise in B2B marketing. Andy, Claire and Angela have been helping our clients achieve their business objectives through intelligent and strategic marketing, using our multitude of digital, creative and content services.

Looking Ahead to 2022…

We hope to take the same momentum and successes into the new year by continuing to support our long-standing partners, welcoming new clients in our specialist areas and aiming for even more team and customer meet-ups when safe, as we slowly resume life post-pandemic. The team will also be eager to exhibit at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2022 show.

The last two years have seen massive changes in the marketing industry and for our clients, with marketing becoming more adaptable and intuitive for businesses. We’re already working on some new advanced reporting tools to help our clients better understand their marketing performance, and we’re excited to see what other innovations and developments 2022 will bring!
